Red peppers (Florinis) with Xinotiri
Ingredients
- 5 Florinis peppers
- 250gr Xinotiri Pittaras
- 1 egg
- a little bachari (spice)
- a little thyme
- salt
- some freshly ground black pepper
- plenty of olive oil for frying
- balsamic vinegar
Instructions
Put plenty of olive oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat and carve the peppers so that only the seeds are removed, season with salt and pepper and fry them, turning them on all sides. Take them out on kitchen paper and wait for them to cool down a bit. Beat the egg, mix it with Xinotiri Pittaras and fill the peppers. Sprinkle thyme, bachari and 3 to 4 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, place them in a pyrex and put them in the oven for 5 minutes at 180°C.
