Kalogyros (the Monk)
Ingredients
- 4 large eggplants
- 8 pieces of cooked braised beef
- 2 large tomatoes (sliced)
- 8 tablespoons of sour cream Pittaras
- 8 slices of Graviera Naxos Pittaras
- a pinch of cinamon
Instructions
Instructions Cut the aubergines in half, remove a piece from the back to fit well in the pan, carve them a little and fry them as for the shoes. After we take them out and let them drain, we put them in a pan, we place the beef on the aubergines, the sour cheese on top of the beef, after the tomato and on top the gruyere. Add a little cinnamon on top and bake for 3 minutes at 200 degrees until the gruyere melts. Served with fried potatos.
