Kalogyros (the Monk)

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggplants
  • 8 pieces of cooked braised beef
  • 2 large tomatoes (sliced)
  • 8 tablespoons of sour cream Pittaras
  • 8 slices of Graviera Naxos Pittaras
  • a pinch of cinamon

Instructions

Instructions Cut the aubergines in half, remove a piece from the back to fit well in the pan, carve them a little and fry them as for the shoes. After we take them out and let them drain, we put them in a pan, we place the beef on the aubergines, the sour cheese on top of the beef, after the tomato and on top the gruyere. Add a little cinnamon on top and bake for 3 minutes at 200 degrees until the gruyere melts. Served with fried potatos.
