Florinis peppers with Xinotiri


  • 5 Florinis (red) peppers
  • 250gr. Xinotiri Pittaras
  • 1 egg
  • some bachari (spice)
  • some thyme
  • salt
  • some freshly ground black pepper
  • some freshly ground black pepper


Put plenty of olive oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat and carve the peppers so that only the seeds are removed, season with salt and pepper and fry them, turning them on all sides. We take them out on kitchen paper and wait for them to cool down a bit. Beat the egg, mix it with the sour cheese and fill the peppers. Sprinkle thyme, allspice and 3 to 4 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, place them in a pyrex and put them in the oven for 5 minutes at 180oC.
